I love this time of the year. First of all, is Fall here in United States. At the same time is Spring in Brazil. I love the colors that these two seasons bring to our soul. I love to picture them as well. The opportunity to experiece the very well defined seasons here in Utah is a blessing. The landscapes are different, once we have the opportunity to look at them in different ways. I also love this time because General Conference. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Every April and October we reunite in the first weekend to have our General Conferences, that are based on Salt Lake City and transmitted to hundreds of countries around the world. I love that here in October is Fall, and in Brazil is Spring. In April, here will be Spring, while in Brazil will be Fall. The two most colorful seasons of the year in the both places (and in the most of places in the world) and this carries the love and appreciation I have for Heavenly's Father amazing and beautiful world He created.
In my house, this is a big event. At the same time I use to renew all my Emergency food and 72 hour kits. I use this date to have a goal of being prepared for the winter (garden picked, canning, freezing done). I also start preparing for the end of the year. And more than anything, renew my Spiritual strength listening to our Prophet's voice. To watch on the tv here in United States, we can access BYU channel and choose your language. To watch on the internet around the world, in all languages, access lds.org website . To know more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, access www.lds.org . If you are not a member of this Church, and wherever you are in the globe, I promise and garantee that you will learn something for better, and, most of all, get closer to Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. A little excerpt of Conference you can read here. Have a great weekend everyone!
